Merchant Tips - At Launch

Thank you for choosing Pay-All-Easy Financial Services for your payment processing needs! This page is designed to provide new Pay-All-Easy customers with the information that they need to configure their application to process live (production) transactions. It also contains valuable information about your Pay-All-Easy account that will enable you to use the various tools more effectively and protect yourself from fraud and security breaches. As this page contains important information, we strongly encourage you to read it thoroughly and to contact us if you have any questions about its contents.

Live Account Details

You were provided with a twelve (12) digit HTML Serial Number in the email that contained the link to this page. You may also have been provided with a twelve (12) digit Developer Serial Number. These numbers are used as follows:

HTML Serial Number:
This number is unique to your Skipjack account and enables transactions to be posted to your Pay-All-Easy account and settled correctly to your bank. This serial number must be entered in your application correctly for transaction processing to function. If you have been using a test serial number prior to “going live”, it is important that you replace that test serial number with this live one when you are ready to process live transactions (in addition to changing the posting location to our live servers). Processing live transactions when your application is using a test HTML serial number will result in transactions not settling to your bank account. These transactions will need to be resubmitted using the live HTML serial number.

Developer Serial Number:
This number is used in two instances (1) when your application is using some of Pay-All-Easy’s advanced features, such as Recurring Payments, Get Status or Change Status, and (2) when you are using it to further “authenticate” each transaction that is sent to Pay-All-Easy for processing. In the latter case, you must have “Make Developer Serial Number a required field” enabled on your account. If you do not use the Developer HTML Serial number that is associated with your live account, your application will not function properly.

Testing Your Live Account

Once you enter the live serial number(s) in your account, we advise running a test transaction through your application for each credit card type that you are accepting to make sure that they are approved properly. You should delete them afterward if you don't want them to settle to your bank account (though if you do let them settle to test that part of the process, you can refund them after the fact). Any transactions run through the account are "live", meaning they will be charged to a credit card.

If you have been using Pay-All-Easy-supplied test credit card numbers prior to going live, we recommend that you stop using them once your account is live. Test transactions that are sent for settlement could cause your entire settlement batch to fail, resulting in delays in receiving funds.

Protecting Your Login Credentials

Your setup email also contained your Login Serial Number, Username and Password for your Pay-All-Easy account. It is important that you protect this information since financial loss can occur should your account be compromised.

Fraud Control

Pay-All-Easy offers a number of tools to help reduce the incidence of fraud on your account, including:

Address Verification Service (AVS):
AVS verifies that the numerical portion of the billing address entered at the time of sale matches that on file with the cardholder’s issuing bank. Filters can be defined on your Pay-All-Easy account to determine when transactions will be approved/declined based on AVS results.

While Address Verification Services (AVS) fraud control responses are returned with each transaction (where supported by the issuing bank), transactions will not currently be affected (e.g. declined) by those responses. It is the responsibility of each merchant to configure these settings.

Card Verification Value:
CVV2, CVC2, and CID are designed to reduce fraud in a "card-not-present" environment by validating that a genuine Visa, Master Card, Discover or AMEX credit card is being used during a transaction. Settings within Skipjack can require that CVV values are sent with each transaction in order to be processed.

Transaction Authentication:
Pay-All-Easy allows an additional twelve (12) digit alphanumeric value to be sent with each transaction, adding an additional level of authentication to each transaction that is sent to Pay-All-Easy. Transactions not containing both your HTML Serial Number and the additional authentication value will be rejected if this option is enabled on your account.

Velocity:
Velocity is a fraud tool that allows transactions to be declined (and/or have warning emails to be sent to you) based on certain criteria, such as minimum dollar amount or total number of transactions processed.

Fraud control is the responsibility of each merchant. Pay-All-Easy does not, by default, enable fraud tools/settings on your account. If you wish to implement AVS or some other form of fraud control, please contact our Customer Service team at 877.275.7694 for further information.

Level 2 and Level 3 Data

If you have any specific processing needs, such as Level II or Level III data, please contact Pay-All-Easy prior to the start of processing to ensure that your application is passing the correct data in order to satisfy Visa/MC Interchange requirements.

Other Available Solutions
